"Awareness Workshops Basic Training-Product Development and Patent Obtaining Process" trainings are given in cooperation with Akdeniz University Nursing Application Research Center and Innovative Nursing Association in order to raise awareness among nurses about innovative product development and patenting process. The first basic training was held online on October 11, 2021. Nurses and academicians from Antalya Province and different regions of our country participated in the event. After the Basic Training, 5-week applied product development training continued. After the five-week training, the first prize was given to the product with the quality of invention and innovation selected from among the products developed by the workshop groups. Among the six products, the product titled “SPACE APP Innovative Stretcher” was deemed worthy of the “Best Innovative Product” award because it contained inventions in 7 areas. At the same time, with the view that product promotion and presentation are as important as product development, the best presentation award was given after the presentation of all products. Performing the best presentation among six product presentations, Res. See. Çiğdem Gamze ÖZKAN was given the best presentation award for her presentation titled “INO TE SA Innovative Wheelchair”.
