The new health care approach directs nurses to maintain standardized administrative activities. In fact, it sometimes puts nurses' beliefs about CARE in the background. Such task-oriented care actions lead to burnout in nurses along with objectification and meaninglessness. According to Jean Watson, who developed the Human Care Theory; Health institutions and managers produce objective solutions such as arranging working hours, bonuses or social activities in order to keep nurses dynamic and prevent burnout. However, what the nurse wants is to be able to provide humane care in a humane working environment. Jean Watson; It keeps nursing beyond the confined definition of tasks, procedures, and techniques in hospitals. According to him, nurses who are well-equipped in the care relationship are individuals who have the ability to love and care, are sensitive, sensitive, full of meaning and have personal connections with the society. When the society encounters a discipline with these qualities, it prefers non-human-oriented, medical-technological models for its own health and well-being, instead of high-integrity and spiritual care models. Watson emphasizes that nursing care can be effective through the use of care behaviors and the perception of these behaviors by patients.
Nursing, which is a human-oriented discipline, should be accepted as a science of care by the society, and the nurse should be able to use caring behaviors purposefully in order to find value in the performance of her profession, whose essence is care.
