HISTORY

Akdeniz University Nursing Practice and Research Center was opened on Monday, November 12, 2018, on January 7, 2019, after the publication of its regulation in the Official Gazette, Number: 30593. The center, which has been operating for two years, carried out its work with Akdeniz University Hospital, including its physical area, between January 2019 and October 2020. With the change of management on September 15, 2020, he started to carry out his activities in the hospital at Akdeniz University Faculty of Nursing. The center's board of directors, consisting of faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing, has been established and serves in a 12 square meter office located in the faculty building. The center has made course programs for the professional development of nurses. In addition, our center contributes to the awareness and training of all professional members at the national level for "Care and Care Quality". The third service area of the center has planned social programs for family members who care for disadvantaged individuals in the society and for the adaptation of individuals with chronic diseases. Working groups have been formed for all these activities.
