2022 Annual Report

After the Akdeniz University Nursing Practice and Research Center Regulation was published in the Official Gazette on 12 November 2018, it started to serve on 07.01.2019. Our center has served in cooperation with Akdeniz University Hospital and Faculty of Nursing until October 2020, in line with the purpose and activity plan in its regulation. In this direction, it is aimed to disseminate evidence-based nursing practices in the clinical field. Courses, clinical training and research activities were carried out on these subjects. In addition, with the aim of improving the quality of nursing care; Physical Examination Methods in Nursing Course, Clinical Research Course, Pediatric Nursing Practices Training, Pressure Wound Prevention Training, Symposium on Immunooncology and Oncology Symposium, Wound Care Symposium were held.

Since 2020, our center has revised its activities in the dimensions of "Education", "Research", "Care" and "Social Contribution" and has carried out activities in this direction. In the training activities, the development of nurses towards innovative care and products was aimed, and with the “Awareness Workshops” activity, significant progress was made. In the research activities, the awareness of the nurses about finding a scientific way and creating evidence for each problem they noticed in practice was aimed, and the "Research school for nurses" program was planned. In addition, our center has determined to raise awareness among nurses about care as the most basic goal. In this context, a series of "Human Care Seminars" for nurses and students has been planned and actively maintained. Our center carries out seminars for the society within the scope of "Health Promotion Seminars" planned in the dimension of social contribution.

The meeting programs for "Empowering Individuals and Families", one of the most important plans of our center in 2022, continue actively with high demands. Announcement posters for 2022 events are given in the visuals.
